Welcome to The Palmetto Tennis Center
- The Main Office is Open! Come inside and Sign in for a court today!
- All players must sign in and out at the Main Office.
- All customers must enter through the front door
- All customers must exit through the opposite door
- Tennis or Pickleball courts have Free play and paid lessons are available. (no parties or rentals available at this time)
- A tennis or pickleball court will be assigned to you for play and all hard courts are first come first serve.
- 90 minute play for each assignment
- It is suggested NOT to handle any tennis or pickleballs that do not belong to you.
- Pickleball courts have the drop-in format during the Community Open Play most mornings 8:30am - 12:00pm with the Sumter Pickleball Players!
- Alcohol is not permitted on city property without prior approval.
- All customers are asked to:
- Stay 6 feet apart
- Stay home if you are sick
- Wear a Mask when applicable
- Wash your hands
- Cough in your elbow
The PTC continues to follow CDC recommendations regarding COVID 19 at this facility.
The Palmetto Tennis Center is located inside Palmetto Park in Sumter, South Carolina.
It boasts 24 state of the art hard tennis courts and 4 new pickleball courts all lit for night play and four on-site tennis pros offer private lessons and group clinics for beginner to advanced players from ages three and up. Other amenities include tennis shop, two ball machines, stringing service, tournament-training building and restrooms. Admission for regular tennis or pickleball play is FREE of charge and first come first serve.

- Extensive Tournament Schedule from Local, State, Regional, National to Pro Circuit Events.
- Ages 13 years and up must have picture I.D. or be accompanied by an Adult.
- Children 12 years of age and Under MUST be accompanied by an Adult at all times.
- All Players must have appropriate non-skid shoes and is suggested to wear comfortable clothing.
- Loaner Tennis or Pickleball Racquets and Balls available for use while visiting the tennis center (supplies are limited).
- Full Service Pro Shop.
- FREE TO PLAY - MUST CHECK IN AT THE MAIN OFFICE PRIOR TO ENTERING A COURT.
