Get AHA Hands-Only CPR Trained for FREE!
Ages 15+
This training consists of learning & practicing: Hands-Only CPR (including high-quality compressions, how to check for breath & pulse, & the importance of calling 911), obstructed airway care (choking), and basic wound care. Please be aware that the American Heart Association does not issue official certifications for the Hands-Only CPR course. This is a training only.

Important Reminders:
- Registration is required to attend these trainings.
- Childcare is not provided. Only registered participants ages 15 and older may attend these trainings.
- Participants should plan to arrive to training at least 10 minutes early.
- Participants should wear comfy clothes as we will be working up a sweat!

Through the generous donation of the Williams Brice Edwards Trust that donated three American Heart Association CPR manikin kits, and Grayce Howard's AHA Instructor Certification, the City of Sumter will offer FREE AHA Hands-Only CPR trainings for the Sumter Community every quarter at all three HOPE Centers starting in March 2026.
