Baseball fans are invited to experience two days of elite high school competition at the inaugural Gamecock City Invitational, taking place March 27–28 at Riley Park in Sumter, South Carolina. Presented by SAFE Federal Credit Union, this premier event will showcase some of the top high school baseball programs from across the state.
The tournament tips off Friday with three highly anticipated matchups:
Friday, March 27
- Lewisville vs. Philip Simmons – 3:00 p.m.
- Camden vs. South Florence – 5:30 p.m.
- East Clarendon vs. Lakewood – 8:00 p.m.
Action continues Saturday with another full slate of competitive games:
Saturday, March 28
- Cardinal Newman vs. West Florence – 10:30 a.m.
- Hartsville vs. Blythewood – 1:00 p.m.
- Sumter vs. River Bluff – 3:30 p.m.
The Gamecock City Invitational promises an exciting weekend of high-level baseball. Fans can expect intense matchups, competitive energy, and a showcase atmosphere that highlights the best of South Carolina high school baseball.
Admission is $10 per person, and all games will be held at Riley Park. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early, support their teams, and enjoy a weekend of outstanding baseball in Sumter.
