The City of Sumter officials have announced a delayed opening for administrative offices. City administrative staff should arrive at 10:00 am Tuesday morning January 11, 2011. The delay of opening City offices at 10:00 am is due to the inclement weather predictions for the Sumter area. City officials will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions. Safety is a priority for the employees and their families.
