The Sumter County Pickleball Association plays regularly at the Palmetto Tennis Center. They love to play weekday mornings and on the weekends! Play-in rotations are on going to continuously include new players. Friendly play atmosphere is always on court! (Indoor play available at the North HOPE Center, Birnie HOPE Center and Sumter County Parks & Recreation Facility on Haysworth St.)

The Sumter Pickleball Association (SPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on promoting pickleball in Sumter and the surrounding communities. We work directly with city and county representatives from various organizations including the Palmetto Tennis Center, Parks & Recreations, the YMCA, and the Sumter Hope Centers. Additionally, we host social “mixer” events where players meet and play pickleball with lots of friends, and then enjoy some socializing.

In addition to keeping SPA members informed about pickleball happenings in our area, SPA also coordinates daily play groups, supports USA Pickleball, and hosts tournaments. Joining SPA is a great way to get connected in the Sumter pickleball community
