James Allbrooks
Battalion Chief
Battalion Chief James started his career at the Sumter Fire Department in 1999. Jamie has served as Firefighter, Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, and currently as Battalion Chief. As a shift Battalion Chief, Jamie provides supervision and direction for daily and emergency operations to his fellow firefighters. In addition, Jamie is also an instructor for the South Carolina Fire Academy and the Sumter Fire Department, guiding and teaching new recruits and firefighters alike.
James Allsbrooks is a native of Sumter, SC, and prefers to be called Jamie. He is married to Shelley Allsbrooks and together they have two children, Walker, and Ariana. Jamie enjoys the outdoors where he is an avid hunter and enjoys fishing, especially with his family. Jamie and his family are members of Northside Memorial Baptist Church.
