With 5 teaching pros, there is coaching available for all levels.
Youth Training Schedule
Session 1: August 08 - October 16 (8 weeks)
Session 2: November 03 - December 11 (6 weeks)
Spinners: Ages 4-5 session 1: $80, session 2: $60
Wednesday 4:30-5:30 pm
• Focus is on movement, balance, and basic tennis skills.
• Goal: To develop a foundation of basic coordination on the tennis court. Uses red and foam balls.
DropShots: Ages 6-7 session 1: $160 for both days or $120 for one day. Session 2: $120 for both days or $90 for one day.
Monday & Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm
• Focus is on basic physical skills such as sending and receiving, balance, throwing, catching, and tracking a ball.
• Goal: Player has the ability to rally back and forth with a coach or parent. Uses red balls.
Slammers: Ages 8-10 session 1: $160 for both days or $120 for one day. Session 2: $120 for both days or $90 for one day.
Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-6:30 pm
• Focus is on physical skills similar to the Dropshots level, such as sending and receiving, but also introduces more complex coordination skills.
• Players begin to understand the concepts of serving, rallying, scoring, and match play.
• Goal: Player has the ability to rally longer with coach or parent, as well as with another player of like ability.
• Beginning to understand the concepts of serving, rallying, and scoring. Uses orange balls.
Homeschool Program Ages 5-14 Session 1: $80, Session 2: $60
Wednesday 10:00-11:00 am
• Focus is on basic physical skills for tennis
• Goal: Player has the ability to "rally" back and forth with a coach or parent or player of like ability
• Introduction to concepts of serving, rallying, and scoring. Uses red and orange balls.
Junior Training Schedule
Challengers: Ages 11-18
$15/clinic, 8th clinic free
Tuesday & Thursday 5:00-6:00 pm
Designed to help beginning players ages 11-18 improve basic skills including strokes and point construction.
• Focus is on stroke technique and development.
• Players in this group have limited experience and are looking for the basic skills to get started.
• Goal: Player develops the ability to serve, rally, and score.
• Players in this group are interested in learning the necessary skills in their first steps to possibly play on a school tennis team.
Aces: Ages 8-14 Skill Placement through coach's evaluation.
$15/clinic, 8th clinic free.
Monday & Wednesday 4:30-5:30 pm
• Intermediate playing level; should have ability to serve, rally, and score more consistently.
• Players learn the point play of full court size.
• Introduction into doubles play
• Goal: Master skills in green ball to advance to full court regulation yellow ball. Uses green balls.
Performance
Intermediate, Ages 11 - 18 - skill placement
$18/Clinic, 8th clinic free
Monday & Wednesday: 4:30 - 6:00 pm
The focus of this clinic is on stroke production and match play situations. Players will be encouraged to participate throughout the year in different events. Goals include the ability to rally while sustaining stroke mechanics. Most are taking, or have taken, private lessons.
High Performance
Advanced, 18 & Under - skill placement
$18/Clinic, 8th clinic free
Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00 - 6:30 pm
High Performance is an immersion of tactical and competitive work and play based drills. Advanced
players, top high school players, and top tournament players will find themselves challenged physically and mentally. Advanced level play requires commitment to excellence and the willingness to achieve goals both during clinics and on their own time.
Makeup Policy:
- If only 1 day is rained out, there will be NO makeup day.
- If 2 days are rained out, there will be a makeup week after the end of the session.
- If 3 days or more are rained out, makeup days will be determined by the teaching pro.
- If players are only doing single day sessions, then they may make up on other days. (i.e. if a player only does Wednesday's, they may make up a rained-out day on the following Monday.)
