The Warehouse Theatre’s production of William Shakespeare’s "Macbeth" is coming soon to the Sumter Opera House! Explore Shakespeare’s classic tragedy in this performance by one of the leading Shakespeare touring groups in the Carolinas. The Warehouse Theatre brings the Bard’s words to life in a way which draws in students and adults to experience the classic theater and its influences in our modern world.

The Sicilian Tenors bring together three marvelous tenor voices, each singing their own interpretation of the world’s best music! Come with us on a romantic journey from Hollywood to Broadway to Italy with operatic tenor voices singing a wide variety of beloved songs. Combined with light-hearted fun, this is a concert for all ages and musical tastes. Joan Rivers called them, “The Three Tenors meets The Rat Pack,” and we know that you’ll love them, too!

The Sumter Opera House celebrates 125 years with Artrageous and this one-of-a-kind interactive performance that incorporates many different art forms on the same stage. Combining captivating vocals, intricate choreography and exciting music, Artrageous takes you on a visual journey and a high energy ride of inspiration, creativity, and engagement. They have produced over 2500 shows both nationally and internationally, touring since 1990. We welcomed them to the Sumter Opera House stage in October 2018, and we can’t wait to have them back on January 17th at 7:30 pm. Be sure to join us before the show for lots of fun and CAKE!

Hailed as the "premier American ragtime ensemble", the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra prides itself in their authentic performances of silent films. Hear and see the silent comedy "One Week" starring Buster Keaton just as it was originally presented at the debut. A newly wedded couple attempts to build a house with a prefabricated kit, unaware that a rival sabotaged the kit's component numbering. Come join us at the Sumter Opera House on January 24th at 7:30 pm as we re-create an experience that very well may have happened here!

Have you ever been serenaded by a musical duo that plays over ten different genres of popular music using the violin instead of their voices to literally express the lyrics of a song? If not, then get ready for a real treat. These brothers, Malcolm and Umoja, use their classic violin skills to play contemporary music. Born to a Barbadian mother and Jamaican father they honed their skills in the south Florida public school system, but are now touring and sharing their Reggae style music with the world. Join us on April 4th at 7:30 pm when the Sumter Opera House welcomes their unique music to our stage!
