Ink and Watercolor Workshop with Sarah J. Jones - Cancelled

Temple Sinai Jewish History Center and the Sumter County Museum are pleased to offer a unique workshop inspired by the artwork of Allan Drummond from the traveling exhibit The True Wartime Escape: Margaret and H.A. Rey’s Journey from France, emanating from the Institute for Holocaust Education. It examines the incredible journey made by Curious George’s creators, Margret and H.A. Rey, to escape the Nazi invasion of Paris at the start of World War II.

Talented portrait artist, designer and owner of Brindle+Black Magazine, Sarah J. Jones, will be teaching this workshop. It will take place in the exhibition space, the Ackerman Exhibition Hall at Temple Sinai Jewish History Center and the art created will be informed by the exhibit. This workshop is proudly part of Inspire! Festival.
