How to Get to Sumter

 

The following interstates have exits that lead you directly to Sumter. Traveling on:

  • I-95 South or North bound you can choose from three routes
    • Exit 135, head West on Hwy 378,
    • Exit 122, head North on Hwy 521, or
    • Exit 102, head North on Hwy 15.
  • I-20 take Exit 98, head South on Hwy 521.
  • I-77 take Exit 9-A, head East on Garners Ferry Rd. to Sumter (continue traveling on Hwy. 378/76 East to Sumter.)

How to get to Sumter Convention & Visitors Bureau (Swan Lake Visitors Center)

The Visitors Center is located on the grounds of Swan Lake Iris Gardens at 822 West Liberty Street.

 

From Columbia travel east on Hwy. 378/76 to Sumter, turn right on Alice Drive (besides Arbys). Follow Alice to the intersection of West Liberty Street and turn left. The main entrance to Swan Lake Iris Gardens will be on the right.

 

From I-95 on Hwy. 15 North, turn left at Guignard Dr. When Liberty Street intersects with Guignard Dr. turn left and follow down around the curve (under the pedestrian overpass) to Swan Lake Iris Gardens on the left.

 

From Manning South Carolina on Hwy. 521 North turn left at Guignard Dr. When Liberty Street intersects with Guignard Dr. turn left and follow down around the curve (under the pedestrian overpass) to Swan Lake Iris Gardens on the left.
