Time to hit the track racing at Sumter Speedway.
Sumter Speedway started as an old cow pasture in 1956 on the outskirts of Sumter County. The track was such a big hit it moved to the current location in 1957 and has been racing since. This track has been graced with such legends as Ralph Earnhardt, David Pearson, Ned Jarrett, Doug Yates, Richard Petty, Lee Petty, Junior Johnson, Rex White and Buck Baker.
Classes that race include Extreme 4, Stock 4, Stock V8, Super Street, and Late Models. Special events include V8 Sprints and Monster Minis. Think you have a need for speed? You can become a driver.
