The 2013 Recovery Road Race begins at Heath Pavilion, located at the end of Garden Street adjacent to Swan Lake Iris Gardens, and ends at the Heath Gardens of Swan Lake. The 5K route is USATF certified and is part of the 2013 Palmetto Grand Prix. Prizes will be awarded to overall male and female winners and to age group winners. The proceeds from this annual race will benefit a recovery-related organization here in Sumter.

This year, emphasis is on educational religious recovery and proceeds will go to Young Life, an organization helping kids consider the direction of their lives and offering them hope of a Christian Life.

10K Run/Walk
Online and Mail-In on or before April 13, 2013: $25
Online and Mail-In after April 13, 2013 (including race day): $30

5K Run/Walk
Online and Mail-In on or before April 13, 2013: $20
Online and Mail-In after April 13, 2013 (including race day): $25

Particpants who register before the day of the race will receive a commemorative T-shirt.

Packet Pick-up

Participants must pick up their timing chips and bibs the morning of the race at Heath Pavilion, located at the end of Garden Street next to Swan Lake Iris Gardens, starting at 7:30 a.m. Parking will be available next to the Heath Pavilion for all participants.

Race Day Registration

Participants can register the day of the race at Heath Pavilion at the higher rates listed. Particpants who register the day of the race are also not guaranteed to receive at T-shirt, so register early!
