Going Green is Living Green!  On Saturday April 20, 2013,  the City of Sumter invites you and your family to Swan Lake Iris Gardens off Garden Street for a day of GREEN! Come to the 2013 Earth Day Celebration and have a chance to see how to be green with Sumter organizations, schools, industries, businesses, local governments and utilities, more than 30 booths displayed in the gardens.  The FREE event is From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. where live music will fill the green gardens with a variety of entertainment, green activities for the children, food and beverages and a whole lot of fun!

For those with a green thumb make sure you have room to take home some plants!  The Sumter Green Truckload Sale will be going strong from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the main entrance as they too celebrate Going Green. For more information, please call 803-436-2640. .
