Sumter Shaw Street Fest
 Friday, September 7th is the 6th Annual Sumter-Shaw Street Fest... a salute to our Men and Women at Shaw Air Force Base. Out on Main Street will be music, food and children's entertainment.
Beginning at 6 pm the featured band, Carla Wilson and All American Country, will entertain us and their music will fill the air. A fun filled night for our community and our Salute to the Men and Women of Shaw AFB. The City of Sumter is proud to be a sponsor along with Progress Energy and FTC. Bring the family and come to Downtown Sumter's Main Street for the 6th Annual Sumter-Shaw Street Fest!

- 5:30pm to 6:00pm - The Lemira Percussion Ensemble – In front of the Opera House
- 6:00pm – Opening Ceremony
- 6:00pm to 10:00pm – Carla Wilson & All American Band – performing on stage
- Special Guest Entertainment – All Night Long
- 6:00pm to 9:00pm – Children’s area open for Fun! – Main Street
